We recognize the importance of the personal data you have provided to us and believe that it is our responsibility to properly manage, protect and process your personal data. Please read this policy to understand what personal data is collected or processed by us, and for what purposes it is used.

We collect most of the personal data to provide a tailor made solution for you

The data entered by our users for bookkeeping services is further aggregated and anonymized and processed to provide the user with metrics about their business and to provide insight to our customers based on the trends identified through data processing.

We implement certain security measures including encryption, firewalls, and socket layer technology to protect your personal information from unauthorised access and such security measures are in compliance with the security practices and procedures as prescribed under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016 and the applicable rules. However, you agree and acknowledge that the above-mentioned measures do not guarantee absolute protection to the personal information and by accessing the Services, you agree to assume all risks associated with disclosure of personal information arising due to breach of firewalls and secure server software.

Our Website and Application are set up to automatically collect anonymous information about visitors to help us understand our website visitors and their traffic patterns; to know when visitors have accessed our site, which devices our they use for statistical purposes and to improve our service.

We use email, Metric applications and social media accounts to communicate with clients regarding their requests and services provided.

We disclose your personal and business information only with government bodies for corporate and legal purposes as an organisation in the course of acting on behalf of public agencies.

4. Retention Limitation

Your personal data will continue to be stored and retained by us for a reasonable period after termination of your account on the Platform. 

For free trial users, the company will hold data for 7 days after the expiration of the free trial. After which the data will be removed from all storage to safeguard privacy of clients.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to secure the information.

Metric is open to sharing information about its data protection practices, policies and complaints processes upon request.

7. Account Deletion

If you wish to delete your Metric account, whether you’re using Android or accessing via the web, the process is straightforward. First, log into your Metric account. Then, navigate to the ‘Menu’ in the navigation bar, select ‘Settings,’ and choose the ‘Delete Account’ option. You will be required to input your email and password to verify your identity. Finally, tap ‘Confirm’ to permanently delete your account. This action is irreversible, so please ensure you wish to proceed with account deletion. For any issues or further assistance, our support team is ready to help
