Terms of Service for SPUR Seed and Support Grant Program

  1. Eligibility:

  • The grant is open to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) operating in any industry/sector.

  • To be eligible for the grant, applicants must have been in operation for at least six months and less than five years and have 50 or fewer employees.

  • Only businesses that are currently operating within Pakistan are eligible to apply.The Business itself does not have to be registered.

  1. Application Process:

  • Applications must be submitted online through the Spur Seed and Support Website by 5th February 2023.

  • Applications must include the following information:

    • Completed Application form

    • Financial information as per guidelines

    • Any other documents or information required by Metric

  • Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.

  1. Funding:

  • The grant will provide funding of up to PKR 250,000 to select business at the end of the program. Only selected and successful participants will receive grant funding. 

  • The grant funds can be used for business growth purposes, such as equipment, staff training, and marketing. Grant funds can not be used to pay salaries or dividends to owners. 

  1. Reporting:

  • Participants in the program will be required to use Metric, an accounting app released by Vixperts Consultancy (Private) Limited (hereafter referred to as “Metric”) to track their finances through the program, and six months post funding, and submit their financial statements at the end of six months to show use of funds and impact/growth, along with all required verification documents.

  • Failure to provide progress reports or failure to complete the project as proposed may result in the suspension or termination of funding.

  1. Renewal:

  • The grant is not renewable, but businesses may apply for the grant in future rounds of the Program Cycle.

  1. Compliance:

  • The grant recipient must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to taxes, labor, and environmental protection.

  • Any non-compliance will result in the suspension or termination of funding.

  1. Auditing:

  • Metric reserves the right to conduct audits of the grant recipient’s use of funds at any time.

  • The grant recipient must provide all necessary documentation and information for the audit upon request.

  1. Confidentiality:

  • Any information provided by the grant recipient in the application process or during the grant period is considered confidential and must not be shared without Metric’s consent.

  1. Intellectual Property:

  • The grant recipient must not use any intellectual property belonging to Metric without permission.

  • Any intellectual property created by the grant recipient during the grant period belongs to the grant recipient.

  1. Condition of Use with Metric for all Applicants:

  • To process and evaluate the provided financial and accounting data, for SPUR Seed and Support Program, the data will be uploaded to Metric by the Metric Team, and credentials for respective business accounts will be shared with the applicant. The applicant should then change their password to retain their confidentiality, and use the app as per their requirement. Participants in the program are required to use Metric to track their growth throughout the program. Moreover, kindly refer to Metric Terms of Service & Privacy Policy for use purposes, as these will also apply to all applicants.


  1. Third-Party Access and Business Information Sharing:

  • The applicant acknowledges that Metric may share the recipient’s business information, including the recipient’s name, contact information, and project details, with partners for the purpose of promoting or reporting on the grant program. Identifiable financial data will never be shared with any third party. 

  • The applicant consents to Metric sharing business information with partners.

  • The applicant also acknowledges that these partners may have access to the recipient’s business information and may contact the recipient in relation to the grant program.

  • The applicant is responsible for ensuring that any information shared with these partners is accurate and up to date.

  • Metric is not responsible for any damage or loss incurred by the grant recipient as a result of the sharing of business information with partners.

  1. Limitation of Liability:

  • Metric will not be liable for any damages or losses incurred by the applicant as a result of the grant or the grant application process.

  1. Termination:

  • Metric reserves the right to terminate funding at any time for any reason.
    By applying for this grant, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.
